Ingredients
  

  • Two tablespoon of caster sugar
  • Half cup of parsnip slices
  • Half tablespoon of ground cloves
  • Half tablespoon of cinnamon
  • Half tablespoon of nutmeg
  • Half cup of unsalted butter
  • Half teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Two eggs
  • Half cup of cream of tartar
  • Two cups of all-purpose flour
  • One cup of shredded gruyere cheese

Instructions
 

  • 1.Take a large pan.
  • Heat it over medium high heat.
  • Add the sugar into it.
  • Heat it until it turns golden caramel.
  • Add the parsnip slices, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
  • Increase the heat and cook it for five minutes.
  • Remove it from the heat and let it cool.
  • Take a large bowl and add cheese into it.
  • Add the cream of tartar and flour into it.
  • Add the cooked parsnip and rest of the ingredients into the bowl.
  • Add the ingredients into a baking dish.
  • Bake the ingredients for ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Your dish is ready to be served.
